Job Description

OB Tech - Labor & Delivery - Full Time Mountain West Medical Center is nestled at the base of the Oquirrh Mountains in Tooele, Utah. This award winning healthcare facility and clinics has expert staff serving the largest county in Utah. We diligently pursue our mission to be the health resource of choice for the community and provide a place where doctors want to practice, people want to work, and the community wants to come for healthcare services. Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of a OB Tech.
Job Summary:
Set up for deliveries for new mother and baby. Encounter patients in delicate situations. Prep instruments and equipment for deliveries, cesareans and other obstetrics procedures. Assemble surgical trays and sterile tables, assist with gowning and gloving, scrubbing for cesareans. Maintains the inventory and cleanliness in the obstetrics department. Responsibilities include admitting, scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, maintaining records, and running insurance information.
Qualifications:
License/certification:
Current Utah Certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. BLS certification required 30 days within hire. NRP certification required within 90 days of hire. STABLE certification preferred. Licenses & Certifications Required C-UT- Cert Nurse Asst
C-AHA NRP
Neonat Resuscit
C-ARC-BLS
