Caring Heart Medical Center is a family medicine and urgent care clinic in Hillsville, VA and we're searching for a qualified Patient Care Technician to join our team. Why CHMC? We're a small, dedicated team that takes care of our community and each other. You'll work directly with our provider in a modern clinic, enjoy an early off on Fridays, and have real opportunities to learn and grow. We opened in August 2024 and we're still building, which means you'll help shape the culture and workflow from the ground up. If you're reliable, punctual, kind, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you. Experience is preferred, but we are absolutely willing to train the right person. Compensation & Benefits Base Compensation starting at $16/hr Mon through Thurs 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with lunch break 12 noon-1 PM, and Fridays 8:30 AM to 1 PM. Paid time off Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid orientation Paid training What You'll Do Room patients and accurately collect vital signs Prepare patients for exams, review medical history, and update medication lists Assist the provider during examinations, procedures, and other tasks as needed Perform basic diagnostic procedures according to established protocols Comfort patients and answer questions Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use Help with front desk/administrative duties as needed — scheduling, phones, patient records, referrals, prior authorizations, etc. What We're Looking For Current CNA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification OR equivalent experience in a healthcare setting At least 18 years old Comfortable with computer skills including EHR systems, email, scheduling software Dependable, personable, and willing to learn Must pass a background check and drug screening Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Ability to
