  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med Tech/Caregiver to join our dynamic healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to residents across various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure residents receive personalized assistance that promotes comfort, safety, and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care. All duties are performed in compliance with healthcare regulations and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Duties Assist residents with daily personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Support residents with specialized needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, or memory care routines Document medical information using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently and accurately Assist with activities of daily living for geriatric patients and individuals with disabilities in accordance with care plans Ensure safe manual handling and heavy lifting techniques during resident transfers or equipment use Follow all state healthcare regulations and protocols related to patient safety, infection control, and emergency procedures such as CPR and first aid Skills Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care practices Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for medical documentation Ability to perform CPR, first aid, tube feeding administration, catheter care, and other medical procedures confidently Strong caregiving skills with excellent communication abilities tailored for caregiver-patient interactions Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia requiring memory care strategies Understanding of HIPAA regulations along with maintaining strict resident confidentiality Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks involved in resident transfers or equipment setup Join us to be part of a caring team committed to enriching lives through compassionate healthcare!
