Job Description
Overview Emergency medical situations can be overwhelming for patients and their families. As an Emergency Room Technician at Legacy, you will play a vital role in easing those fears by delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working alongside a specialized emergency team, you'll support both pediatric and adult patients during some of the most critical moments of their lives. Responsibilities Contributes to a team-based approach to patient care, ensuring efficient and effective patient flow through the Emergency Department. Provides direct patient care to newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates effective and professional communication with patients, visitors, EMS personnel, and hospital staff. Maintains responsibility and accountability for the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of unit equipment and supplies.
