Job Summary:

Assists the surgeon, the registered nurse, and the anesthesiologist in the care of patients in the Operating Room and/or Birthing Room.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Clinical rotations provided by surgical technologist program is required.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Formal externship or 1 year experience is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education, certification or diploma required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required.
