Job Description

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified and detailed-oriented individual to serve as Administrative Coordinator to the Doctor of Health Sciences Program . The selected individual will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for the program, ensuring efficient coordination of departmental activities, communication, and student services. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.
Summary of Duties:
Serve as primary admissions contact for the program; respond to inquiries and provide information to prospective and current students Serve as a liaison between the department and students, faculty, staff and other university offices Assist with the development, maintenance, and tracking of departmental academic schedules Maintain filing systems and databases of current students and graduates Maintain records and manage data for department operations Record, archive, and distribute minutes from department meetings Assist with formatting, creating, and proctoring examinations Assist with the adjunct faculty hiring and onboarding process Assist with departmental purchasing card transactions and reconciliations Receive and direct telephone calls, visitors, and electronic communications Prepare and distribute correspondence; provide other general administrative support
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of three (3) years of office/clerical experience preferred Healthcare office/clerical experience preferred Active member of the church of Christ For initial application submit: Resume Cover letter Employment is dependent upon a satisfactory background check and verification of work authorization through E-Verify.
