Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, hours could vary
Pay:
BOE Education level: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred; See Qualification Requirements & Education/Experience below.
SUMMARY:
The Regional Director of Day and Clinical Programs is responsible for the leadership, operational performance, financial management, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, workforce development, and strategic growth of all assigned day and clinical services within an assigned geographic region. Programs may include Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT), Adult Development Day Treatment (ADDT), outpatient therapy services, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and other assigned clinical programs. The Regional Director serves as the senior operational leader for the region and is accountable for ensuring high-quality, person-centered services, strong employee engagement, sound financial performance, and compliance with all applicable regulatory and funding requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following but is not considered an inclusive list: Leadership and Operations Provide leadership and oversight for all assigned day and clinical programs. Ensure effective and efficient program operations across multiple locations. Monitor service delivery, staffing patterns, census trends, program utilization, and operational performance. Conduct routine site visits to ensure consistency, accountability, and program quality. Develop and implement regional goals aligned with organizational strategic objectives. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Financial Management Develop, manage, and monitor regional budgets. Review and analyze financial performance, productivity, labor utilization, and revenue trends. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and growth. Implement corrective actions when financial or operational performance falls below established goals. Maintain responsible stewardship of organizational resources. Human Resource Management Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain qualified staff. Provide supervision and support to Program Managers and other assigned leaders. Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development planning. Address employee concerns and performance issues in collaboration with Human Resources. Develop future leaders through mentoring and succession planning. Clinical Program Oversight Ensure adequate staffing and operational support for therapy and ABA services. Monitor productivity, scheduling, and service delivery expectations. Collaborate with licensed professionals and clinical leaders to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. Support recruitment and retention of clinical personnel. Ensure clinical programs remain responsive to community needs and referral opportunities. Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements. Monitor readiness for audits, surveys, inspections, and licensing activities. Review quality indicators and implement improvement initiatives. Investigate and respond to complaints, incidents, and concerns. Ensure timely implementation of corrective action plans. Strategic Growth and Community Relations Develop relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and stakeholders. Promote organizational services throughout the assigned region. Identify opportunities for program expansion and service enhancement. Participate in community outreach and partnership activities. Communication and Collaboration Serve as a liaison between program operations and executive leadership. Provide regular reports regarding regional performance, staffing, compliance, and financial results. Collaborate with organizational departments to ensure effective service delivery. Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning efforts, and organizational initiatives. Supervisory Responsibilities Direct supervision may include: Program Managers Site Directors Clinical Supervisors Team Leads Administrative Personnel Other assigned leadership staff Indirect supervision includes: EIDT staff ADDT staff Therapy staff ABA staff Administrative support personnel Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc., and participants. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies. QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE
: To adhere to the following and comply with all Quality Assurance's & HIPAA procedures: The Code of Conduct and Compliance Investigation Procedures as read and discussed in the new employee training must be followed at all times. Consumers' progress notes be maintained and completed daily or as needed on the prescribed forms. Consumers' records must be maintained weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. All information must be filed in consumers' records as needed and updated as prescribed by funding sources.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required in: Business Administration Healthcare Administration Human Services Education Organizational Leadership Public Administration Social Work Related field Master's degree preferred Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience. Experience supervising multiple teams, departments, programs, or locations. Experience managing budgets, staffing, and operational performance. Knowledge of healthcare, human services, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, therapy services, or related industries. Demonstrated success leading teams and achieving organizational goals.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental relations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to resolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished when written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
