We are looking for a
ROCKSTAR
to join our healthcare team-a compassionate, upbeat, and detail-oriented Administrative Receptionist/ New Patient Coordinator for our chiropractic office. The candidate will be the welcoming, friendly, joyful face greeting every patient with genuine enthusiasm and warmth. The ideal candidate brings that enthusiasm to every patient interaction and is highly detail-oriented, ensuring each patient feels cared for and every task is handled with precision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires proficiency in verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, handling patient communications, and supporting both patients and medical staff. Strong organizational and communication skills required to ensure smooth clinic operations. We will train the ideal candidate!
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and warmly welcome patients Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette Schedule and pre-book appointments for multiple providers using EMR systems Verify insurance coverage for chiropractic, post daily charges, collect payments Process patient intake forms and review documentation for completeness Coordinate care plans and communicate with healthcare providers regarding patients Posting of chiropractic billing and coding, including CPT coding and ICD-10coding Prepare reports, manage and organize email and fax correspondence Maintain filing systems, update policies, Follow HIPAA Regulations Use EHR medical software, Word, Excel Manage time and multitask effectively
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical/Chiropractic Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Bilingual abilities and clinic experience are highly valued to ensure effective communication but not required. Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification processes, and health information management is a plus. Excellent communication, phone etiquette, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
