• Overview
• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel equipment maintenance and repair, with a focus on diesel pickups, semis, and trailers. This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. We are an organization that focuses on quality work, with quality products. Oftentimes using OEM components on the majority of what we do. We strive to produce top quality repairs/maintenance, do our best to prevent/reduce future breakdowns, inspect for future potential failures, and produce a quality product that we can be proud of. Most of our clients are repeat customers, as they trust us to do a great job, and manage their trucks/equipment in the best manner possible. Work schedule is standard M-F 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Occasional overtime is available, but not required.

• Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles, including diesel pickups, semis, trailers, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and fix issues related to brakes, suspension, and other critical systems.
• Perform welding repairs, and minor fabrication as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete tasks.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle safety features, inspect for potential future faults.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with vehicle electrical systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and manufacturer recommendations for diesel equipment maintenance and repair.
• Work in a team environment to complete projects and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Post-secondary training in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Drug free, must be able to pass a drug test.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus, but not required.
• Proven experience in diesel equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong understanding of heavy-duty vehicle systems and components.
• Ability to work at smaller heights and in tight spaces underneath vehicles.
• Familiarity with tools and the ability to use them effectively, and safely.
• Experience with brake repair and other critical vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
• Physical stamina to lift 50 LBs.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and maintain a general schedule.
• Ability to work outside, and perform some repairs based out of a service truck onsite/mobile.
• Ownership of basic tooling at minimum is required for mechanics.
