Duties Greet patients warmly and manage all aspects of patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Explain treatment plans, financial options, and insurance coverage clearly to patients, ensuring they understand their care journey Coordinate appointment scheduling using patient management software and revenue well and dentrix systems to optimize clinic flow Verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and follow up on reimbursements while maintaining accurate records in compliance with health regulation policies Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information according to HIPAA regulations and office policies Communicate effectively via phone and client communication channels to answer questions, confirm appointments, and provide outstanding customer service Support the dental team by managing electronic health records (EHR), processing payments, and assisting with administrative tasks such as typing reports or correspondence Qualifications Proven experience in a dental practice environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills Bilingual is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Knowledge of health regulation policies, insurance procedures, and medical terminology to ensure compliance and accuracy Experience with patient management software and EMR/EHR systems for efficient record keeping and appointment scheduling Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patients Familiarity with dental insurance processes including benefits verification, claims submission, and reimbursement follow-up This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through organized support and compassionate communication.
