Role Summary GenPrime Los Angeles is looking for a Fertility Coordinator who is also a licensed nurse (RN/LVN) to act as the clinical and operational bridge across the full fertility treatment cycle. This isn't just a scheduling and communication role. You'll coordinate patient care end to end, support procedure days, track the clinical items that keep a cycle moving (labs, consents, clearances), and work closely with the Medical Director, nursing, embryology, and the administrative team to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll need to be organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable explaining complex treatment protocols in plain language, while also being a reliable clinical hand on procedure days and during off-hours when patients need support. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of fertility patients from intake through treatment, acting as their main point of contact Coordinate cycle scheduling, including monitoring appointments, procedures, and medication timelines Provide patient education on protocols, medications, and injection technique Administer injections and perform basic clinical tasks within LVN scope (vitals, blood draws support, specimen handling) Communicate directly with physicians and nurses on patient status and any changes to treatment plans Document patient interactions and clinical notes accurately and on time in the EMR Respond to patient calls, portal messages, and questions in a timely manner Support insurance verification and authorization processes as needed Help patients navigate financial counseling and billing questions, coordinating with the front office Support patients on procedure days, including pre-op prep and recovery Track and follow up on pending clinical items per patient, including labs, consents, and medical clearances, so nothing delays a cycle Provide weekend and after-hours coordination as needed for time-sensitive patient needs Participate in quality and compliance readiness activities Work closely with the Medical Director, nursing, embryology, and the administrative team to coordinate care across the full treatment cycle Maintain compliance with clinic protocols, HIPAA, and California nursing regulations Key Metrics of Success Patients feel informed and supported at every step of their cycle Physicians and nurses get accurate, timely updates without having to chase you down Nothing falls through the cracks between consult, monitoring, and treatment Requirements Active California RN or LVN license in good standing 2+ years of clinical experience; fertility, OB/GYN, or reproductive endocrinology experience strongly preferred Willingness to provide occasional weekend/after-hours coordination support Comfortable performing injections and basic clinical procedures Strong communication skills, both with patients and with physicians Highly organized, able to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously without dropping details Comfortable working in EMR systems
