The Neurology Center is seeking a Referral Coordinator to join our practice. The Referral Coordinator will work alongside the clinical staff to obtain authorization for all orders. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Organizational skills Time management skills Team player attitude Strong computer skills Submitting experience Preferred experience: EPIC experience Experience with HMO, PPO'S, POS'S, EPO'S, and Medicare Experience receiving inbound calls from patients

Requirements:

Obtain authorization from insurances via phone, fax, or online portal submission Coordinate appeals with Physicians Accurately document approvals/denials in EMR system Follow up on pending authorizations Fax Referrals to the appropriate Facilities Call patients to inform them of their Referral Approvals
