  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. As a Front Desk Receptionist/ Patient Coordinator you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all who enter our office.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls/texts/emails
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and checking vision insurance benefits
  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain organized filing systems both electronically and physically
  • Provide general administrative support such as copying, scanning, and faxing documents
  • Assist with event planning and coordination as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations
  • Social Media content creation/posting as well as coordinating Marketing events/local outreach
  • Requirements:
  • Must-have skills 1+ years in an optometry, optical, ophthalmology, dental, or medical office Excellent phone etiquette and customer service Comfortable learning RevolutionEHR (or has EHR experience) Insurance verification (VSP/EyeMed experience is a huge plus) Strong multitasking and organization Professional appearance and polished communication Bonus qualifications Spanish bilingual Experience with Patient Communication software Optical dispensing experience Google Workspace proficiency•Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets•Interest in Eyecare/Optometry, Previous experience in the eyecare/optical field is a plus!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Will train on all technical systems used in office. Looking for a willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment such as printers and scanners
  • Experience in customer support or related field is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. HIPPA training provided.
  • Previous experience in order entry or clerical work is beneficial
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new tasks

This is a paid position that does not include any unpaid internships.

From $19.00 per hour
