Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity is for a Pharmacy Operations Manager at a nationally recognized pediatric hospital in Coarsegold, CA. The inpatient pharmacy department provides expert pharmaceutical care using evidence-based guidelines and advanced technology to support a diverse patient population, including rehab, PICU, NICU, acute care, and oncology units. The team collaborates closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication management and patient outcomes. Responsibilities include supporting the Director of Pharmacy in developing and overseeing departmental goals and daily pharmacy operations. The role involves managing pharmacy staff, dispensing medications, providing drug consultations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, quality assurance, and performance metrics. This position also leads pharmacy-related projects including IT implementations, automation, bedside scanning, and data reporting. Active participation in professional committees and representing the pharmacy department is expected.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy degree (required) California Registered Pharmacist license with in-hand CA license (required) Minimum three years pediatric pharmacy experience (required) ASHP-accredited residency program and master's degree in public health, business, or related field (preferred) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire (required) Minimum five years demonstrated proficiency in pharmacy management preferred

Schedule:

Primarily day shifts 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (hours may vary)
