This vital role combines exceptional patient communication skills with comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, insurance processes, and practice management. As a Dental Treatment Coordinator with experience, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients and the dental practice, ensuring seamless treatment planning, financial arrangements, and administrative support. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, financial options, and insurance benefits Coordinate treatment scheduling, confirm appointments, and follow up on patient inquiries to ensure high levels of satisfaction Explain complex dental procedures, costs, and payment options clearly and confidently to patients Manage billing processes, including insurance claims submission, payment processing, and account reconciliation using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Oversee medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic Supervise administrative staff, providing training in medical office procedures, customer service, and office management best practices Monitor clinic operations related to fiscal management, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize practice efficiency Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including JCAHO standards, HIPAA privacy rules, and managed care policies Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or in a similar dental office management role with a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care workflows Demonstrated expertise in medical administrative support functions such as medical terminology, medical records management, and billing processes Proficiency with dental practice management software including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential Strong background in fiscal management, budgeting, and financial management within healthcare or dental settings Supervisory experience overseeing staff in a healthcare environment with skills in human resources and office management Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records handling, and healthcare compliance standards like JCAHO is required Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and financial options to diverse patient populations Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to leverage your expertise in dental practice management while making a positive difference in patients' lives!
