DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?

Bachelor's Degree (Healthcare preferred) OR 4-6 years of progressive work experience in healthcare programs with knowledge equivalent to a Healthcare Specialist Strong organizational, administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to present information professionally to employees, vendors, and community partners Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance Experience supervising staff using sound judgment, professionalism, diplomacy, and ethical decision-making Ability to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment

Experience Requirements:

3+ years of full-time healthcare experience involving: Intake services Peer counseling Personal history collection Data collection and analysis Client health education Non-clinical assessments Case management Experience working with mental health and/or substance use populations Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Bay Area social service resources, experience supporting homeless, disabled, justice-involved, psychologically impaired, or substance-use populations, proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management, and bilingual communication skills.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SOCIAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR?

Your day will be a dynamic blend of leadership, collaboration, and patient advocacy. You'll monitor patient flow and help ensure an exceptional care experience while supporting Behavioral Health Care Coordinators with patient concerns, referrals, medication follow-up, and care coordination activities. You'll oversee scheduling and staffing coverage, assist with staff training and performance feedback, facilitate communication between medical and behavioral health providers, and strengthen relationships with community agencies to ensure seamless care integration. Throughout the day, you'll help connect patients to critical resources, follow up on missed appointments, coordinate crisis referrals when needed, facilitate weekly clinical meetings, optimize provider schedules, support program compliance through data collection and reporting, and work closely with leadership to continuously improve behavioral health services. Every interaction will contribute to better outcomes for patients and a stronger support system for the team around you.
