POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Department Director, the Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight, training, and workforce development to a group of direct service staff in multiple programs to ensure high quality services to clients and their families in line with program and contract requirements. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with the Quality Assurance Coordinator and other staff as needed to ensure the highest standard of care is met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensures that supervisees demonstrate adherence to Drew CDC and Department of Mental Health (DMH) documentation standards set forth in DMH Documentation training and DMH Contract standards (includes Completion of Assessments, Annuals, Client Treatment Plans, and Discharges). Ensures that supervisees demonstrate adherence to Drew CDC and DMH contractually required note and form submission standards (includes all progress notes submitted in EHR within 24-48 hours, Assessments and CTP's within 30 days of admit date, annuals within one year, and disenrollment within 30 days of last billable contact). Reviews, monitors, and approves supervisees' EHR notes and other documentation to ensure program compliance. Ensures that supervisees meet required patient access to care (PAC) standards set forth in the Fiscal Year Production Days Schedule (indicates all expected monthly and annual productivity expectations). Ensures that supervisees maintain the designated caseload per respective roles. Ensures that supervisees utilize Clinical Best Practices and Models (EBP, emerging practice, etc.) that is approved by Director and is aligned with DMH, and complete all associated measures, outcomes, and pre/post tests required for said practices. Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and mentorship and be readily available to support staff as needed. Conduct individual and group supervision in compliance with Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements. Develop and facilitate trainings including but not limited to clinical interventions/best practices, documentation/note writing, self-care, service management, compassion fatigue/vicarious trauma, etc. Ensures service quality and customer satisfaction meets agency and best practice standards and participates in meetings/trainings that provide information to help facilitate the process for meeting service and satisfaction standards. Participates in outreach events as needed to promote mental health and child welfare services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Professional Counseling from an accredited university. Must hold and maintain an active License in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Professional Counseling with the California Boards (BBS or BoP). Licenses must always be in good standing. Must adhere to all BBS, Board of Psychology, and the state of California's Legal and Ethical duties and responsibilities of a supervisor. Must be two years-post license and have completed BBS-approved Clinical Supervision continuing education course. Must have a valid CA driver's license, registration and insurance.

Pay:

$85,613.00 - $102,598.00 per year
