This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive mental health, behavioral, and developmental services to children and adolescents with complex needs. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and oversight for all clinical and operational aspects of the STRTP, ensuring adherence to state licensing requirements, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in mental health and behavioral care. Lead, supervise, and support a diverse team of clinicians, case managers, therapists, and support staff through clinical supervision, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development. Deliver 1:1 and group therapy and facilitate groups Develop and implement treatment programs utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-informed care to meet individual client needs. Oversee intake assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and discharge planning for youth with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and co-occurring substance use disorders. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records, clinical notes, patient assessments, and treatment data within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. Manage crisis intervention procedures effectively to ensure safety for clients and staff during emergencies or behavioral escalations. Collaborate closely with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans that promote stability and positive outcomes for clients. Qualifications Proven management experience leading clinical teams within mental health or behavioral health settings; prior supervisory roles are highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of mental health counseling techniques including motivational interviewing, social work practices, group therapy facilitation, child & family counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and crisis management. Strong background working with children and adolescents with diverse needs such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders including substance use issues, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Demonstrated expertise in intake processes, diagnostic evaluation using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), case management strategies, and clinical research methodologies. Familiarity with medical terminology related to pediatrics and mental health conditions; experience managing medical documentation within EMR/EHR platforms is essential. Exceptional communication skills for client engagement and family collaboration; ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of applicable regulations including HIPAA compliance standards; experience working within licensed residential treatment programs is advantageous.
