Job Description:
Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Medical Staff Coordinator who will embrace our mission, vision, and values . This individual must have a passion for nursing excellence and be willing to provide outstanding patient and family supported care. The Medical Staff Coordinato r is assigned the responsibility of coordinating all Medical Staff activities and acts as liaison between the Medical Staff Coordinator assists with quality/risk management functions related to medical staff. This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill pediatric, adult through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/ developmental age of the individual served. Job Requireme nts Associate degree. Bachelor's degree preferred. Courses in Medical Terminology preferred. Three (3) years' experience in a hospital; preferably in a Medical Staff Services office Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Credentialing software. Agenda and minute taking experience. Possesses organization and communication skills Communicates effectively in verbal and written English, including composing letters, preparing reports or producing original documents in proper grammatical form. CPMSM or CPCS preferred.
