In this vital role, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients and the dental team, ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and accurate treatment planning. Responsibilities Coordinate patient appointments, treatment plans, and follow-up care with precision and professionalism. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, financial policies, and insurance procedures. Manage patient records using EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Oversee billing processes, including medical billing, coding, and insurance claims to optimize revenue flow. Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance on office management, human resources policies, and customer service standards. Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations, JCAHO standards, and health policy policies to ensure practice compliance. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, scheduling, and reporting purposes. Collaborate with dental professionals on practice management initiatives such as budgeting, managed care strategies, and utilization management. Support clinic operations by managing medical records, medical administrative support tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow within the healthcare practice environment. Lead team meetings to foster effective managerial communication and promote a positive work culture focused on exceptional patient care. Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in dental treatment coordination. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is essential; experience with medical office software is highly preferred. Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing healthcare teams or administrative staff effectively. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical billing procedures, and medical records management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes. Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members while demonstrating managerial leadership qualities. Acute care or critical care experience is a plus; familiarity with managed care and utilization management is beneficial.
