Join Casa Treatment Center as we support our patients suffering from addiction. Founded in 1967, Casa is one of the only treatment centers in Southern California designed to specifically meet the needs of women in recovery. Casa Treatment Center is a residential, outpatient, and sober living substance abuse facility headquartered in Pasadena. Casa is licensed by the State of California Department of Health Care Services and accredited as a behavioral health care program by the Joint Commission. Job Description The Residential Program Director is a member of the leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Residential Program Director is designed to ensure that Casa delivers quality and ethical addiction treatment services utilizing industry best-practices. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with occasional attendance required at fundraising, evening and weekend events or program emergencies. The position requires engagement with the Board of Directors, community leaders, vendors, management, staff, clients, foundations, individual donors and corporations.

Responsibilities Policy and Procedures Compliance:

Ensure Residential program services and Outpatient program Services are delivered in accordance with the agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Supervision of Service Delivery:

Ensure that counselors are supporting client's needs in treatment or deferring until post treatment and/or referring to outside agency or physician by the assigned case manager.

Daily Service Calendar:
Maintain Daily Service Calendar:

groups, life skills and activities, to ensure clients are informed of daily activities. Scheduling group facilitation by case managers or outside group facilitators.

Staff Communication:

Inform the treatment team of policy changes and ensure implementation of those changes.

Managed Care:

Performs utilization review and communicates with managed care providers and/or peer to peer professionals to ensure that clients are placed in the appropriate level care and receives clinically indicated services. Secures extensions of care when necessary. Responsible for employee staffing, on-boarding, retention, and administration across assigned programs. Performs managerial duties including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating program supervisory and administrative staff; oversees recruitment and supervision of consultants; manages performance, conducts performance appraisals and recommends salary increases; takes disciplinary measures as needed. Ensure budgetary metrics are met daily, weekly, monthly, and annually; including ensuring daily census are being met. Follow up daily with internal and external communication, including responding daily to emails, and phone calls.

Evaluation of Program Services:

Conduct ongoing program evaluations to ensure clinical services and programs are current with industry best-practices and meet all state and regulatory, standards and requirements.

Monitoring Program Efficacy:

Identify policies, procedures or practices that are hindering productivity and offer recommendations for improvement.

Assessing Clinical Services:

Conduct quarterly chart audits utilizing clinical tracers to ensure quality clinical service delivery. Conduct quarterly observational group evaluation to ensure quality of group facilitation techniques.

Program Development:

Design, develop and implement specialized programs to meet the unique needs of clients, alumna and their families.

Development:

Design, develop and implement ancillary services as indicated by client feedback and industry trends and best practices.

Staff Development:

Assist in the hiring, training, development and oversite of clinical staff. Conduct employee testing and evolution with performance improvement plans.

Delivery of Treatment Services:

Collaborates with the clinical director and supervisors to ensure the clinical staff receive clinical supervision and provide clinically appropriate treatment.

Clinical Staff Meetings:

Facilitate weekly clinical staff meetings with the support of our clinical supervisors to inform and assist staff in the provision of appropriate client care.

Utilization Review:

Assist staff with the completion of the Utilization Review documentation for submission to managed care providers.

Support, collaborate and design with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the cultivation of agency strategies and initiatives.

Quality Assurance Oversite:

Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning.

Maintaining Confidentiality:

Inform team members of relevant agency changes or decisions with discretion.

Support Team Core Competencies:

Consult with leadership to support staff development of core competencies essential to their job performance and support the development of resources to improve employee performance. Networking, forming alliances and advocating for the agency with the community. Safeguarding confidential agency information. Education, Experience, and Credentials Required Registered AMFT/ASW or LPCC with the BBS LMFT or LCSW must be licensed preferred 2 + years working in a management position in a treatment center setting. Extensive experience working in group and individual settings for a substance use disorder treatment facility Substantial experience developing treatment programs Experience developing and overseeing rigorous practicum programs CPR & First Aid certified Valid CA driver's license If in recovery, there is a five-year minimum requirement This position requires the employee to be able to walk up and down stairs.
