  • Full-time Role Overview Clos Solène is seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead and elevate the bespoke guest experiences at our new Willow Creek District Winery and estate opening in last Fall 2026. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role oversees all aspects of on-site hospitality
  • from daily tasting room operations to private and elevated experiences, while building and guiding a high-performing hospitality team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of bespoke guest service, operational excellence, and team development

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality Leadership Oversee delivery of exceptional, bespoke guest experiences across all Clos Solène offerings Set and uphold service standards that reflect the winery's philosophy of warmth, authenticity, refinement, and understated elegance Lead by example on the floor, actively hosting guests and modeling the brand's hospitality standards Personalize experiences for members, collectors, and trade visitors to deepen loyalty and brand connection Anticipate guest needs and consistently exceed expectations without being intrusive Team Management & Development Recruit, onboard, and develop Hospitality Hosts and support staff Provide ongoing coaching, scheduling, and performance feedback Provide leadership around hospitality performance metrics including guest engagement, direct-to-consumer revenue, average order value, and membership conversion Foster a culture of warmth, professionalism, and continuous improvement Oversee staffing for events, private tastings, and member experiences Operations & Standards Manage daily tasting room operations, reservations, and guest flow (Tock) Maintain bespoke presentation standards across all guest-facing spaces Oversee inventory management, POS operations, and DTC sales execution Ensure seamless coordination with Membership teams and Marketing Develop and maintain hospitality protocols, SOPs, and training materials based on established Hospitality Handbook Events & Special Experiences Lead planning and execution of member events, private tastings, and estate experiences (4-5 annually) Collaborate with leadership on elevated, bespoke guest programming Support off-site and travel-based hospitality initiatives as needed Membership & Revenue Support Support conversion of guests into wine club members through engagement-driven follow-up protocols led by Estate Hosts Partner with Membership Manager on retention, re-engagement, and recognition efforts Monitor hospitality-driven DTC sales performance and share insights with leadership What Success Looks Like Every guest departs with a lasting, memorable impression of the estate and its wines The majority of non-member guests leave with permission-based follow-up preferences documented and clear pathways for continued engagement with the winery A cohesive, well-trained hospitality team that delivers consistently at a high level Elevated tasting room operations that run smoothly and reflect the Clos Solène standard Strong conversion and retention metrics supported by genuine relationship-building A hospitality culture grounded in warmth, professionalism, and quiet elegance Strong collaboration and alignment between Hospitality, Membership, Marketing, and Ownership. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of hospitality leadership experience, preferably at an artisan or boutique winery Demonstrated success managing guest-facing teams in a bespoke or refined hospitality environment Experience with tasting room operations, DTC sales, and POS (C7 preferred) and reservation platforms (Tock preferred) Familiarity with Enolytics or similar wine club/CRM reporting platforms is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Natural warmth, charm, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for people and wine Professional presence and the ability to represent the brand with confidence and authenticity Availability to work weekends, holidays, and events Wine certifications (WSET, CMS, etc.) are a plus but not required Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience with demonstrated success Why Clos Solène Work directly with ownership and leadership in a close-knit, high-trust environment High-impact role with real visibility, autonomy, and influence over the guest experience Boutique estate environment focused on quality, relationships, and thoughtful growth Be part of a milestone chapter — our new cave production facility and hospitality center opens late Fall 2026 Benefits Health insurance Paid time off (PTO)
