Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Operating Room Nurse Manager (RN) to lead and oversee perioperative nursing services at Kindred Hospital Riverside! Kindred Hospital Riverside is a 40-bed specialty hospital, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our team plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We are located about 20 miles south east of downtown Riverside, in Perris at 2224 Medical Center Dr, Perris, CA 92571. Job Summary Responsible to coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the surgical area. Essential Functions Direct the daily operations of the department including staff scheduling, ensuring the delivery of optimal patient care. Develop new methods to improve existing systems or operations. Assess developmental needs of staff and develop continuing education and quality assurance programs to optimize patient care. Research supplies, instruments and equipment and recommend purchases to the Director. Assist in the selection, training and evaluation of subordinates and initiate personnel actions in accordance with Human Resources policies and organization philosophy. Maintain the necessary level of professional knowledge and technical proficiency in areas of functional responsibility. Complete required continuous training and education, including department-specific requirements. Comply with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation, asbestos, and other hazardous substances. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served within the unit. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Must read, write and speak fluent English Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, word-processing and spreadsheet software. Must have good and regular attendance. Approximate percent of time required to travel; 0% Performs other related duties as assigned.
Pay Range:

Education Associate in Nursing degree. Bachelor's degree preferred. Licenses/Certifications Valid state license as Registered Nurse. ANOR certification preferred. BLS certification required. Experience Three years of operating room experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
