In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, and foster a compassionate environment where residents feel valued and cared for. Your leadership will drive the success of the facility by managing staff, maintaining high standards of care, and promoting a positive community atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while demonstrating strong management and healthcare expertise. Responsibilities Lead the overall operation of the assisted living facility, ensuring adherence to state and federal health regulation policies and long-term care regulations. Supervise and support care teams, including nursing staff, caregivers, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that prioritize residents' health, safety, and well-being, including specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care programs. Manage financial aspects of the facility such as budgeting, financial management, healthcare financial management, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency. Oversee medication administration processes in compliance with healthcare standards and resident safety protocols. Maintain thorough documentation related to resident care, regulatory compliance, incident reports, and operational records using Microsoft Office tools. Promote residents' rights by ensuring respectful treatment, dignity, privacy, and personalized care tailored to individual needs. Coordinate with external agencies for disability services support and community outreach initiatives to enhance resident quality of life. Manage licensing renewals, inspections, staff training programs on dementia care, memory care techniques, and health regulation policy updates. Lead efforts in managing care facility teams effectively through supervising experience and leadership skills that inspire excellence. Experience Proven management experience within assisted living facilities or nursing homes with a strong background in long-term care administration. Extensive nursing home experience with knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and resident's rights. Demonstrated expertise in healthcare financial management including budgeting and financial acumen specific to residential care homes or retirement homes. Familiarity with home & community care services as well as home care operations management. Supervising experience in senior living or group home environments with leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively. Knowledge of long-term care regulations at the state and federal levels along with health regulation policy knowledge. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized disability services support is highly desirable.
