Credentials Coordinator -
Medical Staff Location:
St.
Helena, CA Contract:
13 weeks
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30

ASAP Key Responsibilities Manage assigned medical staff credentialing functions , including initial appointments and reappointments. Collect and verify provider credentials through primary source verification . Support privileging, FPPE, and proctoring processes. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical staff credentialing files. Ensure provider files meet hospital, regulatory, and medical staff requirements. Support provider onboarding, including computer access, required training, orientation, and badging. Maintain and update the medical staff credentialing database. Maintain current knowledge of medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements . Handle confidential medical staff information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion. Collaborate with medical staff leadership, providers, hospital departments, and other stakeholders as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of medical staff credentialing experience required. CPCS or CPMSM certification required. Experience with provider credentialing, privileging, primary source verification, and medical staff services. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage confidential information appropriately. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented environment. Must be available to work onsite in St. Helena, CA. $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
