Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract To Hire A 90-bed LTAC hospital in California is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for an immediate opening. This 13+ week assignment offers the potential to transition into a permanent role, making it a great opportunity for pharmacists looking to step into leadership while maintaining clinical responsibilities in a supportive hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including staff scheduling and workflow management Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians Perform clinical and dispensing duties as needed Develop and implement systems to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance Lead performance improvement initiatives and optimize departmental workflows Serve as a resource for staff education, onboarding, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications:
Active California Pharmacist License (required) Previous inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience required Leadership or management experience preferred Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance
Skills:
Effective leadership and team management abilities Strong clinical knowledge and operational insight Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to balance administrative and clinical responsibilities
Work Hours:
Day Shift (Monday - Friday)
Pay:
