Rehabilitation Manager Location:
San Bernardino, California, United States Salary:

Position Summary The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for leading rehabilitation therapy services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs. This role oversees departmental operations, staff performance, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance while ensuring exceptional care for older adults. The Rehabilitation Manager collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and deliver individualized treatment plans that promote participants' independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for rehabilitation therapy programs. Supervise rehabilitation staff and ensure efficient coordination of therapy services. Ensure participants and therapists are appropriately prepared for appointments and treatment sessions. Oversee implementation of therapy treatment plans as directed by supervising therapists. Manage contracted speech therapy services as needed. Ensure compliance with professional practice standards and applicable state and federal regulations. Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to identify staffing needs and support departmental growth. Conduct home visits, when necessary, to oversee therapy services, equipment setup, and in-home treatments. Support department planning, budgeting, quality improvement, and performance management initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy. Current California Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) license required. Minimum of 5 years of rehabilitation experience . At least 2 years of rehabilitation leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with geriatric populations and individuals with complex medical needs. CPR and First Aid certification required within 180 days of hire (current certification preferred). Preferred Experience Leadership experience managing PT/OT teams. Experience in PACE, skilled nursing, home health, rehabilitation hospitals, long-term care, or other geriatric healthcare settings. Strong understanding of interdisciplinary team (IDT) collaboration and rehabilitation program management. Benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
