Overview The Black Infant Health (BIH) Program is a specialized Maternal, Child, Adolescent Health (MCAH) program under California Department of Public Health (CDPH) in the Local Health Jurisdiction of San Joaquin County. The focus is to ensure women in California are health before, during, and after pregnancy; ensure all infants are born healthy and thrive in their first year of life; and reduce infant mortality with a focus on reducing disparities. To achieve its goals, the BIH Program is a client-centered, strength-based group intervention with complementary 1:1 support that embraces the life course perspective and promotes social support, empowerment, skill building, stress reduction and goal setting. This project is implemented in a hybrid structure with San Joaquin County Public Health Services (PHS). Responsibilities Program Implementation & Contract Compliance Reporting, Budget & Administrative Oversight Data Management & Quality Assurance Participant Recruitment, Enrollment & Retention Community Engagement, Outreach & Public Awareness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Ethnic Studies, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. At least 2-3 years of experience in case management, program coordination, or related services. Experience serving African American families and understanding of historical and systemic dynamics impacting family systems. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Pay:

$73,840.00 - $82,000.00 per year
