Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA within the healthcare services industry. Key Responsibilities
- Schedule patient specialty appointments, follow-up visits, and related provider appointments.
- Submit insurance authorizations and complete authorization modifications as needed.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and update patient demographic information.
- Collect, organize, and maintain medical records and supporting documentation.
- Use an EMR system to manage patient information, scheduling details, and authorization updates.
- Provide administrative support to multiple providers while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and timely follow-through. Compensation and Benefits

Los Angeles, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Coordinate patient scheduling for specialty appointments, follow-up visits, and provider-related services.
- Manage insurance authorizations, authorization updates, and insurance verification tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient demographics, medical records, and supporting documentation in an EMR system.
- Support multiple healthcare providers with timely administrative follow-through and patient service coordination.
- 3 to 5 years of medical administrative, patient services, or healthcare coordination experience.
- Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and insurance authorization processes.
- Proficiency using EMR systems to update patient information, appointments, and authorization details.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential patient information accurately.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with patients, providers, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
- Highly organized, dependable, patient-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a healthcare setting. Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting specialty care providers or multi-provider healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with medical records coordination and healthcare documentation requirements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced patient access, clinic, or medical office environment.
