Position Summary The Assisted Living Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the assisted living community, ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. This role bridges administrative responsibilities with direct oversight of resident services, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily care services for residents, ensuring individualized care plans are followed and updated as needs change Supervise, schedule, and support caregiving staff, including hiring, training, and performance management Conduct resident assessments and reassessments to determine appropriate levels of care Serve as primary point of contact for residents' families, addressing concerns and providing regular updates Ensure compliance with state and federal assisted living regulations, licensing requirements, and facility policies Coordinate with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and pharmacies, to manage resident health needs Maintain accurate resident records, including care plans, incident reports, and medication logs Plan and oversee activities and programs that promote resident engagement, independence, and quality of life Monitor facility safety, cleanliness, and adherence to infection control protocols Manage admissions and move-in/move-out processes for residents Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate action with staff and emergency services Participate in budget planning and monitor department expenses Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, nursing, or related field preferred QMAP certification 2+ years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior services, with prior supervisory experience preferred Working knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism Proficiency with resident management software and basic office applications Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Occasional lifting/assisting with resident mobility Availability for on-call duties and occasional evening/weekend coverage
