Job Description:
Develops, implements, and evaluates day-to-day operational activities of community health programs. Engages with various organizations to implement community health initiatives. Tracks community health program efforts and outcomes for reporting purposes. Operates community health programs within budget constraints. Identifies stakeholders, community assets, and resources to support community health programs. Develops community health networks among religious and community organizations. Participates in current partnerships and develops new strategic partnerships. Attends local community health-related meetings and events to build relationships with stakeholders. Synthesizes community health resource information to enhance program impact. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Flexibility; possessing the ability to wear different "hats" on short notice [Required] Event planning experience [Required] Ability to work well with individuals from various religious, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds [Required] Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications and database management [Required] Ability to learn and effectively use data management computer tools/software [Required] Ability to proactively establish business relationships [Required] Creative, strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a timely and accurate manner [Required] Strong, polished interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills [Required] Self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision [Required] Ability to be a team leader [Required] Ability to work on a virtual team [Required] Ability to create statistical reports [Required] Must be highly organized, attention to detail [Required] Ability to establish relationships between community contacts and the hospital [Required] Ability to accomplish goals and to meet deadlines [Required] Background in public health or community health [Preferred]
Education:
Bachelor's [Required] Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
B.S. or B.A. in Public Health/Social Science/Social Work/Community Health in Public Health Experience working with community coalitions and/or stakeholder groups Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating community health promotion programs
Work Experience:
1+ years experience in planning, management, and implementation of community health programs [Required] 2+ years experience in planning, management, and implementation of programs in the field of public health and/or community health [Preferred] Experience in Community Benefit, Community Health, and Health Education in the health care field [Preferred]

Pay Range:
