SYNOPSIS
Clinical Program Director will be responsible for working with the CEO in overseeing TESSA's Clinical program by implementing TESSA's clinical strategic goals, advising the CEO on programmatic work plans, and implementing and evaluating programmatic workplans, and helping manage the program's budget. The Clinical Program Director will be charged with overseeing implementation of trauma-informed policies, procedures and practice within the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy, Vision and Leadership Contribute to the development of TESSA's vision, strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall direction of the organization through participation on the Management Team. Maintain continuous lines of communication, informing and collaborating with the CEO on critical issues and providing regular reports that represent the organization's progress in meeting its goals and implementing work plans and policies. Participate in strategic planning, goal setting, quality assurance, program improvement, and monitoring the progress of the program. Represent the organization externally, as necessary, particularly to community partners. Internship Program Operations Oversee the operations of a robust clinical internship program. Recommend intern onboarding and training policies and procedures. Build relationships with higher education institution departmental heads. Program and Supervision Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Program to include the oversight of the scheduling of individual counseling clients, group counseling, expert witness testimony, and the BSW, MSW and Counseling Internship Program. Develop current and existing strategic partnerships with service providers and community constituents. Clinically and administratively supervise staff and interns to include:
  • Group clinical supervision of TESSA staff and interns.
  • Administrative and clinically mandated supervision of Therapists.
  • Clinical supervision of staff therapists and student interns as required by the institutions and DORA.
Recommend to the CEO program-related policies and procedures, work plans, budgeting, and complex case management. Assess and establish third-party payment systems and fee-for-service policies. Continue to develop knowledge and understanding about domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. Program Evaluation Collaborate with the CEO in developing an organization-wide assessment and evaluation plan. Research and share studies and models regarding best practices, especially as they relate to trauma-informed practice. Record Keeping Ensures all client records, information, and activities are appropriately documented in the client file and in TESSA's client database in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all client information is kept confidential. Oversee and support the use of the electronic health record system in collaboration with the Clinical Billing Specialist. Review and sign therapy plans, assessments and notes, ensuring compliance with Medicaid standards. Conduct mock audits and be prepared for ongoing Medicaid audits by keeping up with all Medicaid billing rules and updates. Keep current with credentialing for all possible providers and ensure new licensed staff are credentialed too. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Master's Degree in Social Work is required. Licensed as an LCSW is reauired. Two years' relevant experience and two years post license supervisory experience is required. Knowledge of DVSA issues and experience working with victims is strongly preferred. Exceptional ability to work with executive leadership, accept direction, and communicate progress and issues up in a proactive, positive manner. Ability to work well under stressful and emotionally-taxing circumstances and engage in effective self-care. Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
