Job Description
A Different Kind of Clinical Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Part-time Trauma Therapist (20 hours/week) to join our behavioral health team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who wants to provide meaningful trauma-focused care without carrying an overwhelming caseload . Our model is intentionally designed around quality of care, clinical collaboration, and a sustainable workload. Responsibilities Trauma-informed and trauma-focused clinician Experience treating complex trauma, PTSD, developmental trauma, attachment wounds, and adverse childhood experiences Demonstrated ability to provide phase-oriented trauma treatment, including stabilization, emotional regulation, trauma processing, and integration Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder Strong understanding of the relationship between trauma, attachment, nervous-system dysregulation, and addictive/compulsive behaviors Training in evidence-based or evidence-informed trauma modalities such as EMDR, IFS/parts work, CPT, TF-CBT, somatic approaches, or other trauma-processing modalities Ability to assess readiness for deeper trauma processing and maintain appropriate pacing within the client's window of tolerance Experience working within a multidisciplinary treatment team Ability to provide trauma treatment while maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries, documentation, treatment planning, and risk assessment Requirements Advanced training or certification in trauma-focused treatment modalities. We are especially interested in candidates who bring specialized trauma training and hands-on experience working within addiction and behavioral health treatment environments. Experience working in residential treatment, PHP, IOP, detox, behavioral health, or addiction-treatment settings . Experience working with adult male populations and individuals with complex trauma and co-occurring disorders. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and therapeutic boundaries. Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing, medical, case management, and other clinical team members.
