Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated team as a Small 14 Bed Assisted Living Administrator, where you will lead the daily operations of a personalized senior living community. This vital role combines compassionate resident care with effective facility management, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for our residents. As the cornerstone of our community, you will oversee staff supervision, compliance with health regulations, and the implementation of individualized care plans that promote dignity and independence. Your leadership will foster a warm atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for every day. In addition to the salary offered, profit sharing bonuses will be part of the compensation. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations and health policies. Supervise care staff to deliver high-quality assisted living services, including medication administration QMAP certified, working with elderly residents. Oversee the development and execution of personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office tools for resident records, care plans, incident reports, and regulatory compliance reports. Ensure adherence to safety standards and health policies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in resident care and staff performance. Coordinate with healthcare providers and community resources to support residents' health, wellness, and social engagement activities. Lead team meetings, supervise staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and promote a positive work environment rooted in leadership and teamwork. Requirements Proven experience in nursing home administration or managing small assisted living or residential care homes with fewer than 20 beds. Meet State of Colorado Administrator requirements including at least one year of supervising personal care services for the elderly or disabled. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, dementia care practices preferred. Strong background in nursing or senior care management with leadership experience supervising multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight within a senior living or home & community care setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities services is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to manage compliance policies effectively while fostering compassionate resident relationships.
