Patient Access Coordinator Hanger, Inc. - 3.2 Lafayette, CO Job Details $17.75 - $22.00 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Driver's License Full Job Description In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients, staff, and referral sources by managing front office operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a background in front desk or reception work with strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
Patient Reception:
Greet and assist patients upon arrival, providing information on wait times and addressing inquiries at the front desk or reception area
Patient Intake:
Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in; handle walk-in registrations
Financial Transactions:
Collect patient payments, including deductibles, copays, and co-insurance at the front desk
Appointment Scheduling:
Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast and measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
Patient Support:
Serve as a liaison for clinic services, offering information on patient experience programs, support groups, and other resources.
Administrative Assistance:
Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to obtain necessary patient information.
Record Maintenance:
Ensure accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients. High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Be at minimum a good fit for the job, as determined by the Talent Sorter assessment preferred. Hanger will administer the Talent Sorter as part of the selection process Less than one year of customer service, administrative or related experience required. Experience in a receptionist position or experience with medical front office procedures preferred. Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
