Medical Administrative Coordinator Front Range Wound Care & Hyperbaric | Loveland, CO We are looking for an organized, personable, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Front Office Coordinator to join our growing wound care and hyperbaric clinic. This position is ideal for someone with medical front office experience who understands medical billing, insurance, scheduling, medical terminology, and EMR systems . The ideal candidate will also radiate with compassion and care for people, and naturally makes patients feel welcome and comfortable. Experience in a clinic setting and/or Medical Assistant is a strong plus. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and keep the front end of the clinic organized and running smoothly, as well as patient intake/administration . You will be the first point of contact for patients, physicians, referral partners, and phone calls and will play an important role in keeping patient information, documentation, and scheduling accurate and up to date. Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and scheduling Schedule new and existing patients and coordinate appointments Enter and maintain accurate patient information in WoundExpert/EMR Scan, upload, and organize medical records, referrals, orders, and other documentation Obtain and organize patient records and referral information Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and medical billing-related tasks Communicate with referring physicians' offices, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers Track and follow up on referrals and required documentation Maintain organized patient files and ensure paperwork is completed accurately Help keep the front office organized, efficient, and professional Assist with patient check-in and check-out, co-pay collections Work closely with the providers, clinical staff, and Business Manager Help coordinate the flow of patients through the clinic, and in coordination with clinical team Perform other administrative duties as needed Clinical Experience Is a Plus A Medical Assistant (MA) background is welcome and would be a strong asset. An MA may occasionally assist the Nurse Practitioner with clinical duties when needed; however, the primary focus of this position is front-office coordination and administrative responsibilities , not full-time clinical assisting. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable multitasking in a busy medical office Professional, friendly, and compassionate with patients Dependable and takes ownership of their responsibilities Experienced with medical terminology and healthcare documentation Familiar with medical billing, insurance, and authorizations Comfortable learning and working in EMR systems A strong communicator who works well with physicians, providers, patients, and coworkers Able to prioritize tasks and stay organized without constant supervision A team player with a positive attitude Willing to jump in and help wherever needed Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of medical office/front desk experience preferred Medical billing or insurance experience preferred Experience with wound care, hyperbaric medicine, or a specialty medical practice is a plus Medical Assistant certification/experience is a plus Experience with WoundExpert, Net Health, or similar EMR systems is a plus Why Join Us?
