Job Description

UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are currently seeking a full time Patient Solution Specialist Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the operation of patient navigation services, ensuring courteous and professional customer service. Your role will include supervising a team of Patient Solution Specialist, managing work schedules, and ensuring that all team members are adequately trained and equipped to handle incoming calls, conduct client intakes, assess patient social determinants of health and provide information about UCFS Health Care services. You will play a key role in improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities by overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient navigation services.
Expected Scheduled:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm Supervisory Responsibilities Oversee the work of Patient Solution Specialist. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members. Coordinate training and professional development opportunities for staff. Manage team schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the operation of a multi-line telephone system, ensuring calls are answered and transferred efficiently. Monitor the team's customer service quality, addressing inquiries and providing support for UCFS Health Center services. Ensure proper call handling procedures and protocols are followed. Oversee the initial client intake process, ensuring accuracy in the entry of demographic and insurance information. Supervise insurance verification processes. Provide guidance in telephonic and in-person support for clients/patients, including assessments for social determinants of health. Facilitate communication plans, timelines, and follow-ups for ongoing client support. Why UCFS?
