We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming patient experience while managing scheduling, insurance verification, treatment plan presentation, and front desk operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide excellent customer service during check-in and check-out Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments Present treatment plans and explain financial arrangements to patients Collect payments, process transactions, and maintain accurate patient records Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff Manage appointment flow to help maintain an efficient daily schedule Follow up on unscheduled treatment and overdue appointments Assist with administrative tasks and office organization as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Qualifications Previous dental office experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures Experience with dental software systems preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial options Familiarity with PPO insurance plans and claim processes Bilingual skills are a plus Benefits Competitive compensation Paid time off Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment
