This position is ideal for a motivated professional with strong coding skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maximizing revenue cycle performance. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate medical coding and claims submission for insurance carriers. Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies. Ensure compliance with current ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer guidelines. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims. Supervise and support the billing team, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight. Develop and maintain efficient billing workflows and quality assurance processes. Collaborate with providers and administrative staff to improve documentation and reimbursement. Stay current on industry regulations, coding updates, and payer requirements. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of medical billing and coding experience . Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred. Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and medical insurance billing practices. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent is preferred.
