Fluent Spanish and English required About Aguilar Aesthetics Aguilar Aesthetics is a growing medical aesthetics and wellness practice dedicated to providing personalized, results-driven care in a welcoming and elevated environment. Our team offers advanced aesthetic, body contouring, skincare, injectable, laser, and wellness treatments designed around each patient's individual goals. We are looking for an energetic, polished, and patient-focused Medical Aesthetician & Patient Care Coordinator who is comfortable working both in the treatment room and at the front desk. This is a true hybrid position ideal for someone who loves aesthetics but also enjoys patient interaction, sales, organization, and helping a practice grow. Position Overview The Medical Aesthetician & Patient Care Coordinator will divide their time between providing aesthetic services and supporting the daily patient experience, front desk operations, scheduling, lead follow-up, and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, highly organized, confident discussing aesthetic treatments, and comfortable recommending services and skincare based on patient needs. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Medical Aesthetician Responsibilities Perform aesthetic treatments within scope of licensure and training. Conduct thorough patient consultations and identify skincare concerns, goals, and appropriate treatment options. Develop personalized skincare and treatment recommendations. Perform services such as facials, HydraFacial treatments, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and other aesthetic treatments offered by the practice based on training and scope. Assist with and support advanced treatments such as SkinPen/microneedling and other aesthetic services as permitted. Educate patients on treatment expectations, pre-care, post-care, and recommended treatment plans. Recommend appropriate medical-grade skincare products and home-care regimens. Document treatments and patient information accurately within the practice management/EMR system. Capture before-and-after photos when appropriate. Maintain treatment rooms according to cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards. Assist with treatment room inventory and product organization. Stay knowledgeable about current services, promotions, memberships, skincare products, and treatment protocols. Patient Care Coordinator & Front Desk Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and create an elevated experience from arrival through checkout. Answer incoming phone calls, texts, WhatsApp messages, and patient inquiries. Schedule new and returning patients appropriately based on their goals and treatment needs. Respond to new leads quickly and consistently. Follow up with prospective patients who inquire but have not yet booked. Re-engage previous patients who are due for treatments or follow-up. Confirm appointments and assist with reducing cancellations and no-shows. Check patients in and out and collect payments, deposits, and required documentation. Educate patients on available services, treatment packages, promotions, and membership options. Support providers by helping patients schedule recommended next treatments before leaving the office. Maintain a strong focus on rebooking and patient retention . Assist with outstanding patient follow-up and treatment-plan conversion. Maintain accurate patient records and update contact information when needed. Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming front desk and reception area. Communicate clearly with providers regarding patient needs, questions, and scheduling concerns. Sales & Patient Experience This position is not a traditional receptionist role. The successful candidate should be comfortable having conversations about aesthetics, recommending appropriate next steps, and helping patients move forward with treatment.
Responsibilities include:
Educating patients rather than simply quoting prices. Identifying additional services that may support the patient's goals. Introducing memberships, packages, promotions, and skincare when appropriate. Following up on consultations and treatment recommendations. Helping convert inquiries into appointments. Encouraging patients to maintain a consistent treatment plan. Creating long-term patient relationships rather than transactional visits. Qualifications Fluent Spanish and English required. Valid Florida esthetician/facial specialist license or other applicable license required for treatments performed. Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics, wellness, or luxury service environment strongly preferred. Experience performing professional skincare treatments preferred. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Comfortable discussing pricing, treatment plans, memberships, and retail products. Strong sales instincts without creating a high-pressure patient experience. Excellent phone, text, and in-person communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Comfortable using scheduling, CRM, EMR, and point-of-sale systems. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented. Willingness to learn new treatments, technologies, products, and protocols.
