As a vital member of the Dental Health Unit at Turning Points, our Front Desk Staff & Dental Assistants work with volunteer and contract Dentists and their staff to provide excellence in patient care and help ensure continuity for our overall program.   • Love learning, growing, and bringing your best to work each day Here's what you'll do: Welcome and greet clients and visitors and assist with the coordination of the appropriate client services.
Communicate professionally and succinctly over the phone or in written form. Perform client intake and eligibility services, assisting clients with patience and professionalism in the completion of their paperwork and necessary documentation. Provide Dental Clinic administrative services, including accurate and efficient data entry into the Electronic Medical Records (EMS) software and Community Services Information Systems (CSIS). Support a safe and friendly work environment as part of a team that cares about our clients and our mission. Triage requests, inquiries, and concerns using exceptional customer service skills. Bring your smile to work everyday and help others with their smile.
Qualifications and Education:
  • High School or equivalent - Associates degree a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in a front desk, or office environment client facing role.
  • Minimal Intermediate computer proficiency required with EMR systems preferred.
  • Dental office experience preferred or office experience within a medical setting.
  • Community-based organization experience is a plus. .
  • Excellent communications, both written and verbal in English; English/Spanish

  • Pay Range $18.00 - $19.00 per hr.
