Job Description
Palma Sola Smiles — West Bradenton, FL Palma Sola Smiles is a privately owned, fee-for-service dental practice focused on high-quality, patient-centered care in a calm, well-organized environment. We are adding a Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to our team. This position is primarily focused on creating an exceptional patient experience and keeping the front-office side of the practice organized and running smoothly. As part of our team approach, you will also be cross-trained in basic clinical workflow so you can better understand the patient experience and provide support to the clinical team when needed. Experience in a dental office is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train the right person who is motivated, coachable, professional, and eager to learn. This Position May Be a Great Fit If You… Naturally make people feel welcome and comfortable Communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently Are organized and enjoy keeping things running smoothly Are reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Enjoy building relationships with patients Are comfortable learning technology and new systems Work well as part of a close-knit team Are willing to learn both front-office and basic clinical workflow Take pride in doing things the right way Are looking for a long-term professional home Responsibilities Front Office & Patient Experience Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression Answer phones and communicate with patients in a friendly, confident manner Schedule and coordinate patient appointments Help manage the daily schedule and patient flow Assist with patient communication and follow-up Maintain accurate patient information and administrative records Help keep the front office organized and welcoming Support the overall patient experience from arrival through departure Cross-Training & Team Support Learn basic clinical workflow and terminology Become familiar with how operatories and clinical systems are organized Provide occasional support to the clinical team when needed Understand the patient journey from both the front-office and clinical perspectives Cross-training is intended to make our team stronger and more adaptable. Your primary role will remain front office and patient coordination, while learning the clinical side will help you better understand our practice and support your teammates. Schedule Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Patient hours are 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. No evenings. No weekends.
