Job Summary At Orlando Resorts Spine and Body, our Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Coordinator is much more than the person answering phones and scheduling appointments. This role is the heart of our practice and plays a critical part in creating an outstanding experience for every patient who walks through our doors. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and people-focused professional who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures. Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and general questions Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Manage a busy daily schedule while helping maintain efficient patient flow Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently Collect payments and document transactions properly Communicate appointment information and office policies clearly Follow up with patients regarding appointments and scheduling needs Support daily front office and administrative operations Collaborate closely with doctors, case managers, and clinical team members Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment Help create a positive, upbeat atmosphere for both patients and team members Uphold confidentiality policies related to medical records and health information management at all times. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting, preferably in a front desk or medical receptionist role. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems familiarity with electronic health records management is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient service and handle phone interactions professionally. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation review and administrative tasks. Ability to handle clerical responsibilities including filing, scanning documents, and maintaining organized records efficiently. Strong computer skills combined with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping. Familiarity with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA compliance standards is required. Chiropractic clinic experience or clinic experience involving care plans is a plus but not mandatory.
