This position plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while providing an exceptional experience for patients, referring offices, and our clinical team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident communicating with patients and dental professionals, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced surgical practice. Key Responsibilities Oversee and support daily front desk and administrative operations Provide professional, welcoming communication with patients in person and by phone Coordinate patient consultations, procedures, follow-up appointments, and scheduling Maintain strong relationships with referring dentists and their teams Communicate with referring offices regarding patient appointments, treatment, and follow-up care Help coordinate referral outreach and maintain accurate referring-provider information Ensure patient records, correspondence, and administrative documentation are complete and organized Work closely with surgeons, clinical staff, and administrative team members to maintain efficient patient flow Help identify opportunities to improve office systems, patient service, and overall practice efficiency Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, polished, and patient-focused demeanor Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with referring dental offices Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Dental, oral surgery, medical, or healthcare office experience is helpful but not required Experience with insurance, scheduling, treatment coordination, or practice management is a plus What We Offer We offer the opportunity to become an important part of a professional, patient-centered oral surgery practice where quality care, teamwork, and strong relationships with our referring community are highly valued.
