The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic and treatment modalities and a commitment to improving the mental health and well-being of our individuals we treat. The therapist will provide support through individual, group and family therapy sessions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Provide psychotherapy services utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and art therapy. Engage in crisis intervention as needed to ensure client safety and well-being. Facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals with developmental disabilities and other populations. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for clients, including inpatient settings when necessary. Stay informed about best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development. Knowledge of Eating Disorders and treatment. Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. Level 2 Background Clearance Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience in providing psychotherapy and diagnostic evaluations is essential. Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining client records accurately.
