Daily Responsibilities Process provider orders and follow-up tasks Coordinate Home Health, laboratory, radiology, and DME services Complete medication and service prior authorizations Process prescription refill requests Communicate with patients, providers, pharmacies, and specialists Schedule and coordinate follow-up care Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR Support continuity of care for Mobile Medical patients Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Ensure compliance with documentation and regulatory standards Qualifications Required Minimum one (1) year of medical office or healthcare administrative experience Experience with patient scheduling and front office operations Experience processing prior authorizations Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) Experience using Availity , UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal , or CoverMyMeds Medical Assistant (MA) Certification Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field Ideal Backgrounds We encourage applicants with experience as: Patient Care Coordinator Patient Care Navigator Medical Assistant (MA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Referral Coordinator Prior Authorization Specialist Medical Office Coordinator Care Coordinator Clinical Administrative Assistant Medical Receptionist Front Office Medical Assistant Healthcare Customer Service Representative Why You'll Love Working Here At Mobile Medical, you'll be part of an innovative healthcare team focused on improving patients' quality of life by bringing primary care directly into the home.
