Job Description

Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership, School Administration, School Administration/Supervision, or School Principal. and
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of direct experience in collaborating with administrators, families and others dealing in mental health services for students, including experience working with students who are at-risk, experiencing mental health or behavioral challenges, or receiving mental health services. and
  • Knowledge of federal and state education laws and regulations concerning mental health services.
  • OR

Currently possess, or eligible to receive a valid Florida Educator's Certificate in School Psychology, School Social Work, or School Counseling, OR hold a valid license as issued by the State of Florida as a clinical provider through mental health, social work, marriage and family, or clinical psychology. and

Three (3) years of successful experience in the implementation of clinical programming for children and youth. and

Knowledge of federal and state education laws and regulations concerning mental health services.

BACKGROUND SCREENING

All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The background check will include, but is not limited to, fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
