Job Description
FEM Women's Health is a rapidly growing, multi-location women's healthcare organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern outpatient setting. Our infusion centers specialize in the administration of iron infusions, vitamin therapies, and other prescription medications, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and clinical excellence. Our mission is to proactively identify and treat iron deficiency and related conditions in women through evidence-based care, streamlined processes, and an exceptional patient experience. We are committed to creating infusion environments that are efficient, welcoming, and designed around the unique needs of our patients. FEM Women's Health is supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of experienced infusion nurses, advanced practice providers, and physicians. As our organization continues to expand into new markets, we are seeking clinicians who are excited to grow alongside us and help establish high standards of care from day one. Job Overview We are seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider to support our new Orlando/Lake Mary location as we launch and grow this market. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys outpatient care, values patient education, and is comfortable working in a developing clinical environment with variable volume. Initially, Saturday coverage may consist of a limited number of scheduled patients , and shifts may be shorter in duration while patient volume builds. Providers will be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours per Saturday shift , regardless of patient volume. As the Orlando market grows, we anticipate increasing volume with the goal of expanding to a full 8-hour Saturday schedule . We are looking for a provider who is available for this growth trajectory and interested in being part of the early expansion of FEM Women's Health in Central Florida. Schedule Saturdays (initially limited hours based on patient volume) Minimum 2 hours paid per shift Opportunity to grow into a full 8:30 AM
- 5:00 PM Saturday schedule as volume increases Duties
- Oversee the administration of iron infusion therapy to patients in a safe and effective manner
- Monitor patients during and after infusion treatments for any adverse reactions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide patient education on infusion procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
- Perform assessments, including reviewing medical records and conducting physical examinations
- Assist in discharge planning and follow-up care coordination Skills
- Proficiency in health assessment and intervention
- Experience working with infusion patients in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of infusion therapy techniques including IV administration and emergency interventions
- Ability to handle urgent care situations with composure and efficiency
