ICD-10/ICD
coding), treatment planning, and documentation within electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate intake processes for new clients, conducting comprehensive clinical evaluations to determine appropriate treatment modalities including individual and group therapy sessions. Manage crisis intervention efforts, including crisis management protocols and crisis intervention strategies for individuals experiencing mental health or behavioral emergencies. Develop and implement clinical protocols aligned with best practices in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, child & family therapy, PTSD care, and working with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds. Facilitate case management activities by collaborating with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to support holistic patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, CPT coding for billing purposes, and ensure all clinical activities adhere to regulatory standards. Drive research initiatives by collecting data for clinical research projects aimed at improving treatment outcomes for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neurodevelopmental disorders, or co-occurring conditions. Requirements Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field; licensure as required by state law. Extensive experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Proven supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams within behavioral health or mental health settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral management techniques including applied behavior analysis (ABA) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Demonstrated expertise in intake procedures, diagnostic evaluation using
ICD-9/ICD-10
codes, crisis management strategies, and patient assessment methodologies. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR management), medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients' families from diverse cultural backgrounds while providing compassionate client-centered care.
