Job Overview The Clinical Director provides strategic leadership, clinical oversight, and operational management for our mental health group practice. This role ensures high standards of client care, supervises licensed and pre-licensed clinicians, and drives clinical quality assurance. The ideal candidate balances administrative excellence with compassionate, evidence-based mental health practices. Key Responsibilities Clinical Supervision & Team Development Provide individual and group clinical supervision to staff therapists, counselors, and pre-licensed associates. Foster a supportive, collaborative, and trauma-informed team culture that prioritizes clinician retention and morale. Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and guide professional development. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new clinical team members. Clinical Operations & Quality Assurance Oversee all clinical workflows, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, state regulations, and HIPAA compliance. Monitor documentation standards, treatment planning, and clinical charting quality within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Manage clinical risk, crisis intervention protocols, and high-acuity client escalations. Oversee utilization and measurement-based care practices to ensure positive client outcomes. Strategic Leadership & Practice Growth Collaborate with the Practice Owner on strategic planning, program development, and expanding clinical service offerings. Standardize clinical policies, procedures, and intake protocols. Act as a liaison for community referral partners, external healthcare providers, and local stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

Licensure:

Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in the state of operation (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, PsyD, or PhD).

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience, including at least 1-2 years in a clinical supervisory or leadership role.

Skills:

Deep knowledge of evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care), strong crisis management abilities, and proficiency with EHR platforms.

Pay:

$85,511.30 - $102,981.35 per year
